Fabulous Flu

i dont know if I'd even call it the flu. Yes, I've had a fever. Yes, I feel like death eating a cracker. And yes, I've gone through more tissues than the New Jersey Pinebarrens can keep up with. I fell yucky. But on the up side- All My Children has been fabulous. Not that you'd care but: Bianca is leaving for Paris to head up Cambias Indutries, but what she doesn't know is that her daughter's (Miranda) great uncle is going to overturn his father's will so he can get the fortune. But it's ok because Bianca's ex-lover, Maggie, who decided she was straight is going to Paris with her to keep her company. But bad new on the Ryan front, he's moved out from Greenli, so he can take care of his mentally abused brother Johnathan who is trying to kill Maggie. Anyway, thats only half the story but it was good. The couch has also been good, so has the dog, and Legally Blonde 2, and soup, lots of soup. I think I miss translating Latin the least, but I miss the friends the most. Cheesy I know, but true. But tomorrow I will start my week- it'll be Thursday right?! And it'll be quite the shocker after waking up at 1 this afternoon.

O Aaron You're So Fine

Yes, I spent my Friday night at the Keswick seeing none other than Aaron Carter.
Double A-to the R-to the O-to the N. I got tickets, I called Heather at 4:30 we both got out of our pajamas, and we went to go see the hottest thing Radio Disney has ever sponsored. We forgot our Aaron Carter T-shirts, but I don't think he noticed; you know, with all of the other screaming 12-year-olds there. We sat 10 rows from the stage but did he throw us one of his towels? No. Major bummer. But it wasn't just Aaron- o no, there was the pre-opening act which was: Wil Heuser. Wil had obviously blow dried and straightened his long and poorly dyed blonde hair, and Heather and I both wanted his red corduoy blazer. He couldn't sing to save his life, and to make matters worse he couldn't dance either. But then Jordan Knight came out- yes New Kids on the Block Jordan Knight. He was a cutie, especially with his hot DJ guy. The big surprise of the night was JEFF TIMMONS from 98 Degrees came!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god!!!!! Probably the hottest guy there who could honestly sing. But don't get me wrong, when Aaron came out we screamed like little girls. His blonde hair, his suprisingly good voice, and the hottest dance moves EVER. Move over Usher, Aaron Carter can dance and do backflips!
We sang to Aaron's Party, I Want Candy, Living in the USA, and other teeny-bopper songs we didn't know the words too.
Yes, we were the oldest girls there, well if you don't count the parents which made up half the concert attendees. But we had a blast. We got glow necklaces from the hot concession stand boys, we named all of the Security men that we were going to convince to let us backstage, and of course we did the Cha Cha slide with Radio Disney. So I'm going to be 18 in two weeks, and where was I last night? Loving Aaron Carter.

Cheesy, Deep, and Barfable

"Well behaved girls rarely make history"
"Say what you want"
"Baby, you're amazing"
"Find another big adventure"
"I've got sunshine on a cloudy day"
"Just can't turn and walk away"
"Hard to say what it is I see in you, words can't say what love can do"
"Oh watch me go, I'm a happy girl, everybody knows, that the sweetest thing that you'll ever see in this whole wide world is a happy girl."
"I wanna feel the sunshine, shining down on me and you. When you put your arms around me you let me know there's nothing in this world I can't do."
"Somebody wants you"
"Feels just like I'm falling for the first time"
"Make your own luck"
"Don't wait"
"You can't hurry love, no you just have to wait"
"Where your treasure lies, there lies your heart"
"Wheresoever you go, go with all of your heart"
Feeling kinda cheesy and deep this Valentine's Day. Enjoy it, embrace it, and I understand if you need to barf.

College girl??

Confused. Happy, but confused. Just taking it day by day. We'll have to see what happens- hopefully friends will always stay friends, because what are we without them? Maybe we all just need a break. Not from eachother just from life. It's kinda the same old thing: school, gym, homework, ice cream work, and riding. Get up, work, sleep. I want to rock out. Break up the schedule- be spontaneous, happy go lucky. I'm tired of being "good" or "hanging in there." It's time for something other than grades, or student government, or work, its time for dancing, time for adventure, time to be totally confident with everything you are. Be independent, be proud, be your own person, be fabulous. Its time to think about your dreams and your goals. I'm bored with school, thinking about when itll be 3:30, and a grady paper due the next day. I want to think about college and new experiences there. I hate change, I'm terrified by it- but maybe it's time. It's time to be afraid, and maybe by letting go, you could gain a lot more.

The Silver Lining

Every life has it's down points, it's mix ups, mistakes, fights, or failures, but there's always a silver lining. So stick it out through the hard part it's never as bad as you think. Don't wait for something to happen for you, make your own luck. Once you've entered head on into the storm you'll see clear sky a lot sooner than if you would have waited. As my dad always says: when life gives you trouble don't worry at all, just keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole. A silver lining. It's going to be fabulous. I can't wait!!

A New Something

Oh Mondays, how I loathe thee. This one was especially painful. After a fabulous weekend, a major lacking of sleep, and now, this morning the parents on a plane for Bermuda for the week, and a sister home sick- please ask me why I am going to school today? For Roland. Ah, yes Roland Woehr. I hate you and your comb over. You know what I especially hate? That our new song that has to be ready for testing by THIS FRIDAY and its in what language?? Oh yeah, its in latin. Fabulous.
The weekend as I said was almost as good as perfect. Friday was shopping with Chrissie, Saturday morning at 8 was riding (and eating dirt but loving it) then off to scoop ice cream for 7 hours, only to be at school at 6 to sing my little heart out! GFS night was as wonderful as I had pictured it. It was my first and last Acapella Fest, and though my voice totally cracked during my little solo- it was still an awesome night. But we don't stop there, oh no- then we pile in my car on the way to Heather's ony to be singing (maybe screaming) Britney Spears greatest hits. What more could you ask for? I'll tell you what- your closest friends all in one house plus an extremely comfortable, suprsingly entertaining, and all around wonderful sleeping space. This has led to some new developments. A new something. I like the sound of it.
